The Masters Club
NEW SUMMER MASTER'S CLUB
Ages 9-12: 4pm-7pm
(BBDC Levels: Purple & Blue Team, Mini & Petite Core)
Ages 13-19: 4pm-7pm
(BBDC Levels: Yellow & Green Team, Junior & Senior Core)
Tuesdays & Thursdays from August 2nd-25th (eight 3 hour classes)
Summer Masters club will combine 1.5 hours of ballet, and 1.5 hours of a different Master teacher each class. The two levels switch for the second half of the class.
Registration: Individual classes are $70 per day. If you register for 4 or more classes, the cost is $60 per day.

About the Masters Club: The Masters Club is designed for serious dance students who are interested in furthering their dance education by taking classes with talented professionals from outside the Boston area. The Masters Club is open to students participating in the full Team Program (over 12 years of age), and anyone in the Core Program.

Jennifer Weber – Tuesday, August 2nd
Contemporary Hip Hop
Jennifer Weber is the Bessie-Award nominated, artistic director of Decadancetheatre—an all female hip-hop company based in Brooklyn, NY. Jennifer has taught and performed throughout the US, UK, France and Japan. With DECA she represented NYC at the B.Supreme International Festival of Women in Hip Hop in London, the LEAP Festival in Liverpool and the San Francisco Hip-Hop Festival. She has also choreographed for Pras of The Fugees, Reebok, Nike, MTV, the ACLU, Bloomberg, and has assisted Tony Award winning choreographer George Faison. In addition, Weber has been featured in XXL, Shoes-Up, Dance Magazine, Dance Teacher Magazine, Dance Spirit Magazine and American Theatre.

Theresa Stone – Thursday, August 4th
Lyrical
Theresa Stone has trained at Broadway Dance Center, and Millenium Dance Complex. She has received many scholarships for her dancing such as Dance Spirit Magazine's Future Star Award, and also the prestigious Pulse Protege award two years in a row. She has received awards for her choreography including United States Tournament of Dance Choreography Award and Dance Xplosion's Choreographer of the Year, and the Choreographers Pick from The Pulse on Tour. Theresa has assisted teachers such as Cris Judd, Emily Shock, and TOKYO. Theresa performed in Party 105's 2009 Mega Jam behind musical artist Renee Stakey, and has also worked with musical artist Raquel Castro. Recently, Theresa made it to the top ten dancers on Laurieann Gibson's new dance show The Dance Scene. Theresa is excited to be a part of Broadway Bound Dance Center's 2011 Master Club Program.

Tony Jackson – Tuesday, Aug 9th
Contemporary
A native of Philadelphia, Tony began his formal training at the Philadelphia High School for Creative & Performing Arts, and later went on to train at PHILADANCO, the Rock School for Dance Education, and Dance Theatre of Harlem. In 2008, Tony received a B.F.A. from the University of the Arts in Ballet Performance. He has choreographed and performed with the Eleone Dance Theatre and Smoke, Lillies & Jade Arts Initiative, Rebecca Davis Dance Company, and Dance Del Bello & Philadanco's D/2. He also teaches and choreographs in various forms of dance throughout the tri-state area, including contemporary, jazz/funk, hip-hop, & afro-modern.

Corey Wright – Thursday, Aug 11th
Musical Theatre/Jazz
Corey began his professional career as a member of the Louisville Civic Ballet in Louisville, KY. He has performed in many stage productions including Pippin, School House Rock, Much Ado About Nothing, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dreamgirls, Hairspray, and the Van Driver Experience. He has also worked on various television shows such as; Law & Order, 24, As the World Turns, and the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Corey began touring nationally and internationally with Chicago the Musical in 2007. Most recently, Corey returned from cologne, Germany where he was working on Nightshift, a musical feature film coming in 2012.

Jennifer Jones – Tuesday, August 16th
Contemporary/Modern
Jennifer Jones is an exceptional choreographer-director, dancer, educator and artist. Jennifer has worked in the film, television, commercial and contemporary dance industry for over 10 years. She has worked with various recording artist as a back-up dancer and in music videos and has appeared in films. She has a BFA in Dance Performance Choreography and a Minor in Speech Communications from San Francisco State University. She has trained at The Ailey School for 2 years on a partial scholarship. Jennifer is a member of World Changers Church New York where she is an assistant leader over the Praise Dance Department.

Brian Henninger – Thursday, August 18th
Hip Hop
Brian Henninger has taught and performed throughout the U.S. He has worked with top industry choreographers such as LUAM (Rihanna), Chick Maldinado (Stomp the Yard), Kelly Peters (Naughty by Nature, The Fugees), and Angel Feliciano (The Movement). Brian’s love for dance is matched by his love for teaching dance, and sharing his passions with others. His class is a fusion of all his influences in hip-hop and street jazz.

Casie “Tynee” Goshow – Tuesday, August 23rd
Breaking & Hip Hop
Casie Goshow, also known as Bgirl Tynee, is a professional hip hop dancer living in NYC. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science and was a hip hop teacher for Penn State University. Casie teaches hip hop throughout the tri-state area and recently became a licensed Zumba instructor. Some of Casie’s accomplishments have been; a Las Vegas finalist on the FOX TV show So You Think You Can Dance, Adidas TechFit Commercial, Monsters of Hip Hop Scholarship winner and also won Seventeen Magazine’s “Adidas Makes Tracks” contest. She teaches hip hop, breakin, Zumba, and hip hop aerobics.

Kevin Guy – Thursday, August 25th
Jazz
Kevin began dancing with famed director Debbie Allen, and later attended North Carolina School of the Artswhere he received a B.F.A. in Contemporary dance. Mr. Guy performed for Dance AlloyTheater, Genesis Dance Company, Opus Dance Theater, Nannette Bearden Dance Company and with Camille A. Brown and Dancers. Mr. Guy has danced in stage productions of “Pepito’s Story”, “The Black Nativity”, The Metropolitan Opera production of Aida, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and Dancing From The Heart Broadway Cares (with Camille A. Brown). Mr. Guy was featured in the motion picture “Across the Universe” directed by Julie Taymor, “The Nutcracker” PBS Special for the North Carolina School of the Arts Ballet Program and The Luther Henderson tribute staged by choreographer Louis Johnson. Mr. Guy’s choreography has been performed in Japan, New York, Tennessee, North Carolinaand Virginia and he has assisted Camille A. Brown on projects for La Guardia Performing Arts High School, Barnard College, Alvin AileyCertificate Program, Dallas Black Dance Theater, Ballet Memphis and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Mr. Guy has taught for The Ailey School’s Junior Division and PPAS program, Ailey Camp, Ailey Camp Too, Dance Theater of Harlem and New Ballet Ensemble. Currently, Mr. Guy teaches for Ballet Hispanico and Ailey Arts in Education and Community programs and is also Rehearsal Director for Camille A. Brown and Dancers.
