Recreational Classes: Beginner/Intermediate Level

Recreational classes are designed for students taking 1-3 classes per week. Each class is based off a studio-wide ciriculum to teach students the basics of the genre, to improve team building skills, confidence, musicality, and to have fun!
Recreational classes have a maximum of 15 students and is open enrollment. Classes are in the “white” blocks on the schedule and are categorized by age. All recreational classes perform in the May Recital (each class requires one costume). Students must meet the minimum age requirement of the class as of September 6th, 2011. No exceptions. StStudents
Tiny Ballerina Classes (Ages 2-5)
Tiny Ballerinas is designed for young ballerinas to learn the basics of ballet (and jazz in combo classes) while also working on improving motor skills, flexibility, music recognition, team building and confidence. Students must meet the minimum age requirement of the class as of September 6th, 2011. No exceptions. Classes run from September 6th – June 9th (split into two semesters), and each perform in the BBDC Recital in May. BBDC offers a variety of days and times for classes:

Pre-Ballet 3-4yrs: Tuesday 3:30pm

Boys Hip Hop: Beginner/Intermediate Level
*Boys are welcome to enroll in any age appropriate class

Team Classes: Intermediate Level (Grades 1st-12th)

Team classes are designed for students taking 4+ classes a week. Teams are by audition, organized by grade, and compete at two competitions in the Spring as well as perform at the May recital. Team students are required to take ballet, jazz, and at least two electives of their choice. These are the "colored" blocks on the schedule. One costume is required for each class for the May Recital. Students in the full team program are invited to the Masters Club offered at the studio.
**Team classes are open to anyone (do not have to take a minimum of 4) if there is availability after July 15th.
Core Classes: Advanced/Pre-Professional Level

The Core Program is Broadway Bound's most advanced level. Students are required to audition to enroll. A minimum of 6-8 hours is required (depending on the core), and students are required to compete with their jazz class, one TBD class, and a combined production of all the cores. All Core Classes perform in the May Recital (each class requires one costume, except for strictly technique classes). Upper-level Core students have opportunities to be invited to some Broadway Bound's exciting programs such as: College Prep courses, Assistant Teacher Training Courses, Master Classes, & More.
